One thing that is memorable about my generation that the last generation seems to have forgotten is the ability to adapt to new technology quickly. For young folks like us, the next big revolutionary product comes out and we get to know it like the backs of our hands in merely a few hours, while a lot of people in their thirties to their fifties can not even figure out how to use smart phones. Back in their days, I assume that they were able to figure out how their walk-man radios and their VCR players worked pretty quickly, so I do not understand how they can not even figure out these new products. It makes me wonder if we are rapidly evolving mentally as human beings to adapt to these new changes, like this story I enjoy called "Thumps" about adapting to changes of environment and lack of an accurate measurement of time.

Mandatory Reading
If I had to make one novel required to be read by everyone in the world, it would definitely have to be The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins. It is a book that teaches a lot of the basics of scientific evolution written by Dawkins, a prestigious evolutionary biologist. He has many other great novels, his most popular being The God Delusion. I think this book would help the world by teaching them how evolution is actually factual by giving them a basic explanation of how it works and how it brought us to where we are now. The people of the world do not have to worry though; it may sound boring, but Dawkins is a very clever man and he keeps it entertaining. I just want this book to be read because the amount of people that still do not believe in evolution and instead believe in biblical creation is too high. Here lies the proof, in this wonderful book written by a wonderful man.
